The airline's headquarters is in Fort Worth. It has nine hubs across the United States including Los Angeles, Chicago, and the Big Apple. A repair center is also located in the city. These centers house large fleets of aircraft and require a lot more manpower. More than half of American Airlines flights originate from this city. American Airlines operates primarily passenger and Boeing aircraft.
They also have McDonnell pol, Bombardier, Embraer aircraft in their fleet and can accommodate between 44 and 140 passengers. The Boeing 737-8800 is America's most popular and most efficient airline.

American Airlines Online Check-in is available up to 90 minutes before departure for international flights. Download the American Airlines mobile application or email your boarding passes. You will be directed to aa.com if you have a child under 2 years old or you do not have a seat assigned. After you have received your boarding pass, you will be able to scan the barcode at security checkpoints and boarding gates.
American Airlines Fly With Children
American Airlines will accept babies as young at 2 days of age. Your doctor will need to complete a passenger medical form if you're traveling with a baby less than 7 days of age. An adult of 16 years or older must accompany infants. Children must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older when they turn 2. All wide-body aircraft come with a toilet that can hold a changing table.

Basic Economy customers can carry one personal item. The item should be small enough that it can fit under the seat. The item dimensions must not exceed 18x14x8 inches (45x35x20cm). All other bags must also be registered. Each passenger is allowed to bring 1 bag.
Maximum size for carry-on luggage cannot exceed:
22x14x9 inches / 56x36x23 cm x 23cm (includes handles)
